A group, Anambra Youth Empowerment Initiative has expressed joy over Gov. Willie Obianor's avowed commitment and resolute on road construction as evidenced in over 215 Km roads commissioned by the Governor in the past three months.
The chairman of the group, Hon. Nduka Alor also commended the Governor for his feat on health sector, environmental sanitation and security, which he described as propelling force to the governor's four points agenda that borders on mechanised agriculture, oil and gas, trade and commerce, and industrialisation.
According to the chairman, 'Gov. Willie Obianor has shown 80 percent continuity from his predecessor, Mr. Peter Obi, which is a genuine way of fulfilling his campaign manifestoes and giving back to the people.
'In less than four months, he commissioned about 215km roads and flagged off about 150km roads across the three senatorial zones of the state. Some of the roads include, Ozubulu-Atani road, Nwafor Orizu College of Education road, Nando-Abuba project-Awkuzu road, Umuezeanam-Mmiata road, Onitsha-Atani-Osamala-Ogwuikpele road, Ufuma road, Ekwuluobia-Ezinifite road as well as Amansea-Agu-Awka road which was flagged off recently'
Hon. Nduka who was the immediate past Special assistant to the former Anambra Governor, Mr. Peter Obi on Youth Mobilisation and an APGA chieftain also enjoined all APGA faithful to embrace peace and eschew envy and malice while joining hands with the governor in moving the state forward.
He disclosed that his group is seriously on the vanguard of checkmating crimes in the State, which according to him aims at sanitising the state and ridding it off all criminal elements.
'The youth initiative will always assist the JTF in checkmating and exposing crime and we are happy that Anambrarians can now sleep with their two eyes closed. Many business men and investors coming into the state has nothing to fear as Anambra State is now haven to business moguls'
Hon. Nduka, however beckoned on youths to queue into the governor's agricultural agenda especially on the fish production, poultry management and animal husbandry which he said targets youth employment even as he thanked the bank of agriculture and Anambra state government for making loans accessible to youths.
