Barely 24 hours of taking over the saddle of office, the new Commissioner of Police Anambra State CP Garba Umar Baba has sworn into action with a measured move that send jitters down the spine of criminals in the State.

It seems Anambra has gotten  a Police CP that may work and better the security atmosphere in the state.

The "SHOW OF FORCE" by the new Sheriff in town CP Garba Umar Baba took even some of the officers and men of the force unawares as nobody saw it coming.

The epoch making start-up duty which is the First of its kind in the history of the Nigerian Police in Nigeria is a welcome development.

Just barley 24hrs on his assumption of duty CP Garba Umar Baba has embarked on a Solid and Robust "SHOW OF FORCE" with his team of striking and combatant Teams and Officers of the State Command.

The new CP has started on a positive note and with the message - "AM HERE TO WORK AND MAKE ANAMBRA SAFER THAN I MET IT" - CP Umar.

The PPRO ASP Princess Nkeiru Nwode urged Ndi Anambra not to panic when the force on the SHOW OF FORCE gets to your area but be rest assured that Anambra State is in safe hands.

The PPRO also called on the support of the State Government, members of the public and stakeholders to support and continue to support the new CP Garba Umar Baba in collaborative and partnership capacity to maintain and sustain the secured and peaceful tranquility in the State, she concluded.

This is really an epoch making event in the History of Nigerian Police in Anambra state as the New CP Garba Umar Baba sets the record as the fastest and duty Ready CP as he swung into action with men and officers of the command barely 24hrs on assumption of duty with a "SHOW OF FORCE" around the state with a display of his combatant team and striking Team - battle ready and with a message - "am here to work and compliment the efforts of the state government".
