ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND.
CP GARBA BABA UMAR HOLDS SECURITY MEETING.
In his effort to further improve and stem the safest state status of the State, CP Garba Baba Umar held a security meeting in the state Monday, July 11 2017 at the Command Headquarters in Awka.
The CP who expressed his readiness to bring a new reformed operational strategies in the Command geared towards ensuring the state remains a safe haven for people in the state noted that the Command cannot singlehandedly fight crime without the collaboration of other sister security agencies.
The CP epitomizes the historic security milestone already achieved in the state by all the various security agencies in the state and categorically stated that under his watch he will work hard to improve on what is already on ground.
The CP also expressed his concerns over some security breach in the state occasioned by poor working synergy amongst other security agencies and pointed out that thou lines of engagement may differ, our primary aim is to maintain Peace, Order and a secured Society for citizenry.
The Director DSS in the state Mr. ________________ who thanked the CP for converging such a meeting on his assumption of duty advised on the need to work together. He promised of the collaboration and cooperation of the DSS in clamping down on criminals in the state and promised to take work with all security outfits.
Deliberations centered most on how to work more closely together and building a trust synergy through information sharing, security report analysis and respect amongst various agencies especially during/at the course of their duty.
The Police Public Relations Officers in the state ASP NKEIRUKA NWODE pointed out that in due course the Command will launch a new professional guide towards inter - agency collaboration for a safer Anambra State. She thanked the new CP for such wonderful idea and seek cooperation from other sister agencies in the state and the general public.
