Valentine's Day Celebration... Chief Sir Chris Iguh urge Christians around the world to be more committed to charity.
As Catholics and all the Christian faithful in Nigeria celebrate the Valentine's day today, it also a double barrel celebration as today also marks the beginning of the Lenten season - THE ASH WEDNESDAY.
Speaking to news men in his office the Chairman CiBi Care Foundation described this years coincidence as a Divine Wake-Up call to Christians to do more charity in deep spirituality.
This years Valentine celebration ushers us into the Lenten season and is expected that we all must show love without discrimination, without sentiments, in deep humility, spirituality and obedience to the teachings of Christ.
Both celebrations today have one strong message and significance; which are: Show love, Pray more and Sacrifice in penance. Is a perfect bleeding this year and next we will see such perfect bleed will be in year 2029. Let's make good use of this great opportunity.
Let love reign supreme in our life's today and forever, let love drive us to more action especially to the poor, the down trodden, the widows, the indigent and the sick.
Never let today end without a surprise show of love and affection to someone today.
