Today Thursday, 8 March is celebrated as World Women's Day Celebration. On behalf of CiBi Care Foundation we join the United Nations and other international organizations in marking this special day.
The empowerment and support to women remains one of our focal schemes at CiBi Care Foundation. By this sensitization today, we are called to double action in the support for a gender friendly society and women inclusion in politics, social and business activities.
"Can you imagine what the world will look without women? Women are great treasure to the world and must not be relegated for whatever reason/reasons. What will the family front look like without mothers? Mothers are the neck that bears the heavy brunt of every family. Look at any broken family you will find a broken mother, look at any vibrant family you will find a vibrant mother look at any great and successful family you will find a great and successful mother, look at any happy family you will find a mother, I can go on and on and on. Mothers are the captain that stir the ship(family, society, business, government) and cannot be neglected. Until the society places the rights of women in their pride of place, peace and stability may continue to elude the society. Today on behalf of CiBi Care Foundation and my family, I wish the women folk good and great tidings and congratulate them and appeal to them to use their motherly care and love to guide the family, the society and various agencies towards a better society"
Cibi Care Foundation will continue to advocate for a more sensitive and gender friendly society through galvanized actions, programmes and campaign inline with the guide as stipulated by the United Nations.
