ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND DIARY:
ABANDONED AND FOUND CHILD.
On the 10/8/2018 at about 0600hrs, one Duff Ibanga male of Umuota Village Obosi brought to Obosi division a Six months old baby alleged to have been abandoned in a bush along Idemili junction road Obosi,complainant further stated that he was attracted by the cry of the said baby as he was passing by.
Scene was visited by Police detectives attached to juvenile and welfare unit of the division and the baby was handed over to the motherless babies home for safe keeping.
However, Case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident and effort is ongoing to trace the biological mother of the baby.
Meanwhile,the Command enjoined members of the Public with useful information that could help trace the parent of the child to report at Obosi division or call this Police emergency number 07039194332.
