Is a unique privilege to celebrate the 58th Independence Anniversary of our great country.
We must all take pride to mark this years Independence Anniversary despite the confronting challenges and conflicting emotions, knowing fully well various obstacles we surmounted to get here today as a Nation.
The annals of our political history as a Nation thou not too favorable and encouraging, true to that fact, but on a second thought, we have a lot to be grateful and thankful for as a Nation.
For God so loved Nigeria so much that He gave us His abundant love despite our inadequateness and inadequacies. So blessed naturally. No natural disaster, like Tsunami in Indonesia, Hurricane in Florence, Landslide in Southwestern China, Wildfire in South Carolina, Volcano in Greek, Wildwind in Namibia etc.
Despite our peculiar challenges confronting us as a Nation, today is and should be one of those days we should look back, thank God for the journey so far and be grateful as we strive for a more democratically progressive Nation.
Our unity in diversity, courage so far, human, natural and capital endowment is enough to take us as a Nation to any height amongst great Nations of the world.
Together in PEACE, CORPORATION & TOLERANCE, the labour of our Heroes past, shall never be in vein...Amen.
