Very successful, fine and fantastic I must tell you. Firstly, I must give thanks to Almighty God for the success despite  some little challenges. But I must confess the aim and dream was achieved and expectations met. From feedbacks and responses so far, I can assure you MR TAXI is here to say. The only little challenge I will point to was the absent of the launch host - Mr. Basketmouth who was fully and duly  paid. As a matter of fact, he was in Awka on the day for the launch but never showed up for the launch despite premises from his manager that he was going to come. That said, the launch was a huge success as all our brand Ambassadors and guest artists and actors graced the launched.

How come about this dream - MR TAXI?

Thank you for that brain Cracker.! Well, I must be emphatic here, MR TAXI is 100% my dream, my idea. You can better put, MR TAXI is 100% my intellectual property. You can also say is 100% local content because is my dream conceived, nurtured and birthed here by me for our people, hence why it was kicked off here in the 5 South Eastern States for a start. I can precisely remember vividly well that the Ban on Motorcycle (OKADA) in some cities in the South Eastern states engineered this dream. During the OKADA ban in some places in Anambra State, I happened to be working on a project in the state then. The first few weeks of the ban was not funny at all as people thought it was a mission impossible. The people has serious transportation challenges. Is was a big problem to many. I interacted with many during those periods. So one day, I retired to bed with the question; "how do I proper solution"? The next morning I woke up with the idea - MR TAXI. So MR TAXI was birthed to solve that huge transport problems. MR TAXI was birthed to solve and provide alternative, organized, affordable, reliable, comfortable and mobile App transport system in the South East.

OK, MR TAXI is an internet enabled transport scheme which enables you to book a TAXI from the comfort of your home or part of the world with your mobile phone. The App is very easy to use and best user friendly TAXI App. Just download the App and you are good to go. The App is designed in such a way that it doesn't require a hyper-technical data network, is simple and excessively specific. With your Android phone, you are good to go. As a matter of fact, my parents in the village uses Android phones and uses the App too. The world has evolved and still evolving. The App is very easy to use and has been designed to work and easily connect with the minimal available" Hypertext Transfer Protocol" suite to our server. So the epileptic network challenge was envisaged while creating the App. Our target with the App is to correct the myth that epileptic network hitches will pose a big challenge. That was envisaged and taken care of creating the App. MR TAXI App is very user and network friendly. So no cause for alarm. Come to think of it, I wonder that one business that is not internet enabled? The App has many user friendly features like TOUR GUIDE & SOS BUTTON that sends direct signal to our offices if in any way our customer (s) feels any sort of insecurity during your trip without the knowledge of the driver. The App also operates on real time goggle map and from our officers, various customer care units can monitor and track all trips booked on transit each day. So, you can tell anybody you know about MR TAXI.

What are the challenges so far?

Good question, there is no business in the world no matter how profitable is without challenges. As the CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, and supervising the 5 South Eastern offices, the collective responses from the people have been very massive and encouraging. A little challenge I can point to is  the shortage of drivers in some States to meet the demands. This has prompted the brand to seek more corporate understanding with professional TAXI owners to register their TAXI's with MR TAXI. MR TAXI is targeting a private partnership with TAXI owners. Also, MR TAXI is perfecting plans on acquiring more 50 cars to add to it's fleets ahead of the Christmas period. Also MR TAXI has made provisions for toll free lines customers can call for bookings if need be. That said, MR TAXI is an affordable and reliable chauffer service you can reply on for your next trip.

There has been this controversy about the real owner or CEO of MR TAXI, can you clarify this issue?

Since after the launch of MR TAXI, I have turned down various media appeals on this issue. Now let me state it emphatically to envoy magazine, MR TAXI is my brainchild and my idea, 100% my intellectual property. The major financier of MR TAXI is Mr. KC Freeman basically.  My friend Jim Iyke was contracted as an ambassador to the brand. Before the launch of MR TAXI, the brand management called Jim Iyke and advised on the importance to stick with the terms of engagement and resist the controversial role of parading as the CEO of the brand MR TAXI. Jim Iyke paid deaf ears. I personally approached him on the matter. So when the controversy became too glaring the brand management decided to relieve Jim Iyke of his Ambassadorial role to the MR TAXI brand and also when further to terminate all contractual agreements with him including some percentage of the brand shares offered him, as it relates to the brand. He is my friend and we still remain so. The brand has many Brand Ambassadors of which more will still join the brand as time progresses. So Jim Iyke was the former Ambassador to the brand and never the CEO of the brand MR TAXI. You know the social media thrives on scandals and speculations but that is not a problem to the brand as the brand is doing exceptionally well from the massive response within this shortest launch time till date. One of our sources has it that Basketmouth who was supposed to host the launch on the 5th of October few minutes to the time left his hotel room in awka after he spoke on phone with Jim Iyke. That is been followed in the best professional way as the brand fully paid for all logistics and services of Basketmouth wish he decided not to honour for reasons best known to him. The brand legal team is not replying on just a refund but all options available as for now the brand is more concerned and committed in building a strong and formidable brand. Also may I use this opportunity to tell the public that MR TAXI is recruiting staff at some of its state branches, interested individuals can also submit their credentials as MR TAXI targets giving job opportunities to many young people in the south east.

Any sort of partnership with government or private individuals?

For now, no, but am sure at some point in time the brand may want to look at some opportunities and options to partner with government on improving business standards and patronage. We all must do our part various parts and allow government do theirs. So MR TAXI is more concerned about provision of most organized and affordable transport system.
