*CP DANDAURA MUSTAPHA* *mni* replaced CP BABA GARBA UMAR on Wednesday 6, February 2019 following a release of New Redeployment/Reposting of CP's in the 36states and the FCT.
The New Police Boss Anambra State Command - CP DANDAURA MUSTAPHA
The posting which came on the mandate of the Police Service Commission press release directed with immediate effect all new CP's to settle at their new posting and to ensure a safe free election before/during and after the 2019 general election.
The New Police Boss, born on January 15, 1963.
CP DANDAURA MUSTAPHA had his early education in Kastina and later proceeded to Bayero University Kano where he bagged Bachelors Degree in Historical & International Studies in 1987.
DANDAURA followed it up with a Master Degree in International Affairs & Strategic Studies from Post Graduate School, Nigeria Defence Academy in 2010.
The Kastina State born Police Chief began his distinguished law enforcement career with the Nigerian Police Force in 1990; March 3, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.
The New Sheriff has served in different formations of the Force among which are, but not limited to P and G Adewole Estate Police Division, Kwara state Police Command. Divisional Traffic Officer 'B' Division Surulere. The ADC to the civilian Governor of Kwara State in 1993; also ADC to military Administrator Adamawa State in 1994.
He is popular within the Police circles as "MR GO- GETTER" in reference to his outstanding meritorious service in the Force.
MR GO- GETTER was from 1996 - 2005, the Detective Investigator FCID Abuja.
He was at one time the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Gwarimpa & Karo Abuja. And enviably, the National Assembly Divisional Police Officer(DPO) Abuja.
Worthy of note, also, MUSTAPHA was the CSP in-charge of Operations FCT Command, remarkably Deputy Force Secretary Abuja & Commandant Police College Kaduna.
Until his appointment as the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command, he was CP Railway Command Lagos.
