Valentine Ozigbo Donates N2m to Tansi International College Awka(TICA)

Foremost philanthropist and President/CEO of Transcorp, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, has donated a princely sum of N2m to Tansi International College, Awka (TICA).
The occasion was the 20th anniversary celebration of the college which also coincided with the college's Annual Feast Day, blessing of Fathers' Rectory and confirmation of students.
Speaking at the event, Ozigbo who urged the students to take their studies seriously, offered to motivate the best student in JS3 exams each year with N50, 000.
He also announced a yearly donation of N100, 000 to best student in WAEC; and same amount to the best teachers in junior and senior classes.
He however said the best teachers in both categories would be decided by the students through voting.
Ozigbo, through his foundation, Valentine Ozigbo Foundation, has been supporting students and schools in what he describes as his way of giving back to his society.
He believes that education is the key to build strong economy.
