Dr Chinedu Umeadi foundation: (DCUF) ESSAY COMPETITION AWARD CEREMONY - 24th OCTOBER, 2020. (save the date📋)
Ahead of the final phase and award giving ceremony of the just concluded DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION ESSAY COMPETITION, the team was at the officer of the Honorable Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy to brief the Honorable Commissioner on the process and seek the Commission's presence at the award giving ceremony coming up on the 24th of October, 2020.
The ministry being the supervising ministry of all youth affairs and empowerment activities in the state, DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION (DCUF) enumerated some tremendous impacts the Foundation intends to create for capacity and increased opportunities for Young People in the state and beyond and discussed lots of partnership recommendations with the ministry for the youth sector in Anambra State.
The Hon. Commissioner; PROF. THERESA NKECHI OBIEKEZIE in a warm reception thanked the founder of the Foundation - HIGH CHIEF DR. CHINEDU UMEADI (Agunechemba 1 of Abagana) for such laudable idea of keeping the youths engaged during the lockdown.
The Hon. Commissioner continued that one of the things that endeared her to DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION (DCUF) is the fact that the Foundation is an advocate of individualism and the notion to encourage young people that hard work truly pays and there is not shortcut to work hard.
The Hon. Commissioner also expressed satisfaction with activities of the foundation so far and the personality of the Founder Dr. Chinedu Anthony Umeadi as she remarked that some Foundations that have reached out to the ministry before now for progressive partnership with the ministry have all abandoned one programme or the other.
The team leader for DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION - Mr. Uchenna Umeadi thanked the Hon. Commissioner for her warm reception and academic inputs towards making the award ceremony a huge success and promised her the Foundation will go back and make sure that all the i's and t's are well dotted and crossed as advised as the foundation puts final plans in place ahead of the epoch making event.
