    DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION HALF-HOUR ON ABS KICK STARTS, TARGETS MORE YOUNG PEOPLE IN ANAMBRA STATE

    DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION (DCUF) HALF HOUR ON ANAMBRA BROADCASTING SERVICES (ABS) AWKA .

    The programme on air geared towards impacting and inspiring young people improve  in their general well-being with relevant knowledge and information on various subject matter ranging from Academics; Health; Career; Social Welfare.

    The topic centered on DECLINE IN READING CULTURE AMONGST YOUNG YOUTHS exrayed the causes of poor reading culture amongst the youths, challenges facing young people in our higher institutions, way forward out for young people, drive to resuscitate the dwindling Education System in Nigeria .

     

    Two students of DR. CHINEDU UMEADI FOUNDATION Essay competition scholarship with cash rewards was on air to share their views and give testimony on how The FOUNDATION has impacted on their academic well-being and personal development.

    Comr. IGWEBUIKE CHRISTOPHER from Mgbakwu, Student Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka  pointed out that young people should start scouting for opportunities to promote one's standard.


    He disclosed how he heard about the Dr. Chinedu Umeadi Foundation Essay Competition online and participated in it which he came out victorious.


    He frowned at some of his colleagues in school did not take the essay competition seriously and advised young people to always take every opportunity to build their academic life and better their career choice. 

    He however , thanked the Founder of the foundation for living up to his promises and inspiring young people.

    A guest on the programme MISS DENNIS ONYINYECHI BLESSING from Enugu State and also an industrial training  student  with ABS advised parents and teachers to live up to their responsibilities by inculcating morals to youths, Urging parents not to dictate for their Wards a compulsory choice course of study in the university but to act as a guide. 

    Also on the part of the teachers at all levels, they should help in nurturing young people through their Education life as the success of any child is a huge legacy for the teacher.

     A student of Federal Polytechnic Oko,Miss Perpetua Ujunwa Eziamaka from Isuaniocha also a beneficiary of DR. Chinedu Umeadi Foundation Essay Competition  encouraged young girls not to be dettered in their struggle for success both in academics and career life especially in this gender sensitive Society and thanked Dr. Chinedu Umeadi Foundation for the opportunity as today was her first time of speaking on radio which will help build her public speaking confidence and her personal development.

    Comrade Obitube Nnaemeka a Media Director Dr. Chinedu Umeadi Foundation extols the various programmes of the Foundation has out in place for youths not just in Anambra State alone but in Nigeria.

    Comrade Nnaemeka said  that poor rate lack of mentorship programmes for young people that's why Dr. Chinedu Umeadi is leaving no stone unturned towards reducing the gap and filling the vacuum through his foundation, pointing out that youths who make themselves available will always have the foundation platform to excel in their various callings.
    People who want to improve their circumstances to live a better life must first need to learn, build and acquire new skills, take opportunities and put skills into practice; comr. Obitube he added.

    The anchor of the programme MR. EZE ONWUNJI (D-Music Man) enjoined young people to look up to great icons who have made the nation and state like Chinua Achebe if blessed memory; Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and many others. He also congratulated young students who came out tops in both WAEC & NECO examinations in Anambra State for making the state proud.
