CAMPAIGN AGAINST ELECTORIAL VIOLENCE...DR. IBIDA CALLS FOR ABSOLUTE SANITY & ADVOCACY...
Ahead of the November 6 Gubernatorial Election in Anambra State the member Representing Njikoka 11 constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly Dr. Pete Ibida has called for absolute sanity and advocacy through motions and sensitization at all levels across party line and Religious inclination.
Dr. Ibida in a live programme on ANAMBRA BROADCASTING SERVICE Wednesday morning calls on decentralization of powers in the concurrent list to allow for decentralization of democracy to the grass root to help strengthen our democratic well-being.
Dr. Ibida also attributed some of the heightened Political Tension during electioneering Campaigns to some social/Political/Economic factors like:
*. Lack of Political ideology amongst Political Parties
*. Poverty
*. Poor mentorship amongst the youths
*. Wrong Generalization
*. Excess concentration of power at the centre
*. Money politics
*. Lack of appropriate laws
*. Over zealous Politicians playing smart
Dr. Ibida calls on Political parties to come up with objective Campaign strategies and political blue print to the people and avoid Campaign of calumny, hate and name calling and Religious Bigotry.
The HONORABLE member also enumerated some efforts the state House of Assembly is putting in place in ensuring in peaceful Anambra State before during and after Election with the State Law of Enforcement of VIGILANTEE SERVICES in the state topping the move and many others at constituency levels through ADVOCACY through motions and sensitization of constituents through various outreach programmes.
Hon. Ibida advises ndi Anambra to shine their eyes ahead of the November 6 Gubernatorial Election and go for the best candidate with the best interest of Ndi Anambra at heart.
