The 2017 Children's Day celebration was outstandingly classic as the new Transition Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra introduced some new revolutionary leadership skills as he celebrates his first Children's Day Celebration with the Youths and Children of the local government.
The Chairman who was early enough to the venue with his family, made sure everything was in place early enough before the arrival of the various schools for the celebrations.
This years celebration was a huge success and the Chairman mounted serious security and traffic control officers at the Local Government Junction to secure the safety of the children and assure safe and free vehicular movement. No sad news was recorded this year and previous investigations revealed how some children after the event on their way home on trying to cross the road have been knocked down by careless drivers.
Also the Royal father's from the towns making up Njikoka where ably represented at the event which added great colour and glamour to this years celebration.
The TC Chairman, Hon. George Ozor, appreciated the support and show of solidarity and goodwill for the success recorded. He promised to do his very best in placing the Local Government in high colours at the State level and National level as the case may be. He charged the Youths and Children to be very conscious of the fact that the society is changing at a fast speed and be good ambassadors of their families and the local government.
There where lots of side attraction's and cultural displays by many groups, corpers and civil society groups.
