35% affirmative action on women participation in Politics should be more practical than theoretically inked on paper.

Dear young people, take your girl friends, female friends and slay mama to your political meetings, political symposiums and gathering. Help open up the women folk to Kore opportunities politically.
Women can't do it alone without been pushed or helped.
Is not enough paying lip service to the women course in politics. Is time for action hence why "THE ENVOY MAGAZINE" lends their voice and platform to the call and campaign by "ALLIANCE FOR AFRICA" in the wake-up call to our leaders, civil society, NGOs, women and all relevant bodies.
This is a barrier we all can break even together through a roboast support and implementation scheme through 75% action 25% paper drive.
To build to last, one must build on strong formidable foundation achored on strong action plans and drive to achieve goal.
Let's recall one of the weakest accusations against this is that women ate weakers vessels.
This is wrong and an evil accusations against the women folk. Africa precisely must wake up and grow above the mere emotional ingenuity by the men folk coated by our masculine egocentric culture. Women are doing great across the world, African women are not exception an exception. Funny enough, African women outside the shores of the African continent are breaking the glass ceiling and breaking barriers in various fields and calling. This is to show us that down here in Africa (Nigeria as a case study) is a self imposed ingenuity and suppression against the female folk.
Also another big problem is the "SIT TIGHT MENTALITY" of African leaders over populated by the male folks. Is worrisome once they ascend the position/office, giving it up for a new fresh brain is a very very big problem. Take a look at the President Obasanjo third term bid. Also look at the Late Libyan President Gadaffi. Another example is the recent one of Zimbabwe. So the men are too power drunk and give way and opportunity. Is a big problem which we must not fold up our arms and watch.
Women are numerically advantaged and is time to start putting to good use these advantage through more education, collaboration, sensitization, support and changing the social and psychological status quo.
The Senate President has told the Conference of Nigerian Female Parliamentarians (CONFEPA) that they have his full support and the full support of his Office in pushing for increased female participation in politics and governance, however, it must be a collective effort. To me this is a great news and a welcome development. All principal partner's need to key in and take up the opportunity to reach out to more top leaders to get a categorical endorsement to this course.
Having more women in government is in the interest of Nigeria’s development. This is because increased female participation in politics will strengthen our democracy and make our country better. So in line with the "ALLIANCE FOR AFRICA" drive for more women participation in politics, my team and I give our 100% support to the course.
