DR CHINEDU UMEADI PAYS CONSULTATIVE VISITS TO OBITEX (OZO UGO EBE NA AJA) AT HIS OBI IN OKPUNO AWKA.
~Seeks his support ahead of his senatorial election
It was an event full of pomp and pageantry as High Chief Dr. Chinedu Anthony Umeadi, the YPP senatorial candidate for Anambra Central on Sunday 12th February 2023, visit Ozo Obitex, Ozo Mgbago na mgbeda, Ozo Ugo ebi na aja, at his Obi in nodu Okpuno Village, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
He welcomed High Chief Dr. Umeadi and his entourage to his Obi and presented them with kola. Afterward, High Chief Dr. Umeadi was introduced to Ozo Mgbago na mgbeda and his supporter by Prince Ezenwa, the Media Chief of Dr. Umeadi Campaign Organization.
In his speech, High Chief Dr. Chinedu Anthony Umeadi expressed his gratitude to Ozo mgbago na mgbeda for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage at his palace. In his words, Dr. Umeadi said, "it's highly regrettable that our present and past representatives of Anambra Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly have not performed well. There is no accountability. I believe in accountability and the development of the youth and women's empowerment. As a Senator representing Ndi Anambra Central at the 10th Senate, I shall endeavour to effect impactful and quality representation when elected to represent my people". He then formally presented his manifesto before Ozo mgbago na mgbeda for them to take a full assessment of his person and his capacity to deliver. He, therefore solicited their votes and support as we get ready to go to the polls on February 25th, 2023.
Responding, Ozo Obitex assured High Chief Dr. Umeadi of their full support and total readiness to deliver him at the polls. According to him, "anyi adighizi atuzi Party kita. Otutu ndi a no na Abuja kafa nochite anya any n' emezi uche fa. Ufodu nime fa ekwesighizi higher Abuja ozo maka n'oburo ife nna fa", he concluded.
In his remarks, Ichie Hon. Peter Ozumba, the Director General of Dr. Chinedu Campaign Organization, on behalf of High Chief Dr. Umeadi thanked Ozo mgbego na mgbeda for his support of the New Direction agenda.
High Chief Dr. Umeadi used the opportunity to respond to the teeming youths, women, and children who trooped out en masse to cheer their candidate up. They prayed for God's blessings and continued guidance on High Chief Dr. Chinedu Anthony Umeadi as he continues his campaign tours of the towns and villages in Anambra Central.
